Little Owls

I found this while I was looking through my files. This was originally part of a larger portrait painting that I did sophomore year. I wasn't happy with the portrait but there is a part of the piece that I like...the owl figurine that I painted in the background :)

Candelabra

I did this painting on a slice of a tree that I bought at the craft store (Thanks Jongmee for telling me about it!). It's just acrylic and a thin micro marker. I'm starting to experiment with creating more graphic style images. And I've realized I really like painting on wood.
